My hope on this 9/11 anniversary is that we do not let cynicism win the day.  For every one of us who remembers vividly those dark events and again feel the cold chill and the muted grief over the memory of the dead and wounded, there are who will mock and jest, assert that the attack was a non-event, or worse yet, it was deserved. I have this thing I say around the house from time to time...as a reminder to Natalie and the kids that our home is a safe place, a peaceful place, a haven free from chaos and craziness.  I call our home a D.F.Z. - Drama Free Zone.
