But in a humanitarian stance and as Member of the forum.......you could show interest; particularly since there is such depth shared in DP's posts.

If you want to prove the words you say here about your religion holds any validity at all - then this is one of those times when action speaks louder than words.
What action will you choose?

You should care.
You really should.

It doesn't matter for me why DP left Church.
I have many reasons why I became a member of this Church.
I try to explain my believes to the best of my ability.
And what DP says he saw in Church I don't see it. I don't experience it.
For example he talks about taboos. I have no idea what he is talking about.

RE: 10 Reasons Why I Rejected Mormonism, and So Should You
If one is familiar with the southwest (I spent nearly a year in Gallup) one knows the mormon church is evil. It takes a short time to hear of children being purchased to go to school in Utah.

Now mind you my time there was some 45 years ago and one assumes that they have become more subtle. The OP offers great reasons to ignore all church systems. The mormon church is particularly evil in intent as it was is and will always remain a con and that is offensive.

This is not to say that all religions are not a con because they all are. It is that the mormon religion is so obviously a con from the start that is offensive. Other religions hide their con so far in the past that things can become confused. The con of the mormon religion is historical and cannot be confused.

Regardless of the therapeutic qualities gained from the ten volume tome, here you only need one reason not to worship god in the pattern created by the womanizing drunkard John Smith.

What does it say then, about the population of the United States, that Mormonism is the fastest growing segment of Christianity?

Fine. Then at least you can understand why

It really doesn't matter to us why you belong to church
We have many reasons for being atheists
We try to explain that to you to the best of our ability
what you see in the church, we see through it, to the bullshit under it all.
For example you talk about death being a rejection of life. We have no idea what you are talking about.

See?? We aren't all that different, are we?

Yeah Cath I'm with you 100% on that one. I gotta admit that one throws me for a loop. It's just not rational thinking.
