That one had me crying laughing.

"It's a well known fact that the interestingness of an animal is directly proportional to how difficult it is to find it's butt hole."

Ya learn something new every day.

Excuse me, I'm making perfect sense. You're just not keeping up.

Well, this isn't a misconception but just an interesting bit of information. THe Murex snail from the Mediterranean is the source of the color purple and blue in ancient times. It's sometimes Tyrian purple. It's color was much more vibrant and color fast than plant derived color but it took enormous amounts of snails to make a dye therefore only the elite and royality could afford it. This is why deep purple is often the color of royal robes even to this day. The art of extracating the dye from the snail was lost for 1500 years and rediscovered about a century ago.

Poor snails.

Shakespeare's Comedy of Errors.... on Donald J. Trump:

He is deformed, crooked, old, and sere,
Ill-fac’d, worse bodied, shapeless every where;
Vicious, ungentle, foolish, blunt, unkind,
Stigmatical in making, worse in mind.

RE: 10 animal misconceptions I have seen or heard
It looks like we here in Croatia still live in the middle ages, because our schools still teach that there are plants, animals and humans on this planet. So fucking sad. My friend had a discussion with his GF (she is Christian, he is an atheist) about how humans are animals. She was so mad at him because of that that they had break. He was utterly confused and came to me asking me what I think about it. You can guess my response...
