Hmmmm.. frankly i was hoping people would put a little more thaugtfullness and less commedy into their posts on this thread but i guess people are so used to parodying the 10 commandments...

the original idea of the post was to kinda lure out deeply some seriously well taught out moral considerations on what people think is nessesary for a functioning society and for optimizig everyones wellbeing and general all round contentednes with life in general.... or what ever you hold to be of central importance...

n ammount of moral principles is a good way of teasing that out...

My commandment (don't be a dick) is no joke.

So many cats, so few good recipes.

1. Seek truth in all facets of life.
2. Seek morality.
3. Listen to the advice of others.
4. Never prioritize convenience.

(Sorry, 10 is difficult.)

well its to simplistic and have not been given any serious concideration... they dont reveal any deeper helled moral values..

dont be a dick is just vague and can mean a whole host of things... what exactly makes a person a dick?

if you never figure that out how can you avoid being a dick?...

you must delve down into a detailed studdy of dickishness and come up with concret crietera of dickish attributes..

1. Thou shalt not kill unless there be the greatest of justifications for thee.

2. Thou shalt not steal unless there be great justifications for thee.

3. Thou shalt not lie unless thou hast a good justification.

4. Thou shalt not own another person as property.

5. Thy women art equal to thee, and anyone who says otherwise shall be punished.

6. Thou shalt not kidnap another person.

7. Thou shalt never force thine faith unto another person.

8. Thou shalt treat the world as thou treat thy neighbor.

9. Thou shalt not know a child.

10. Thou shalt get of thy behind and do things, rather than praying the day away, hoping God will do it for thee.
