All mammals can be eaten by all other mammals. I'd hate to clean a bunch of mice for dinner, but they are edible.

Whether it is good tasting is open to interpretation. I hear the only "edible" part of these critters is the tail. Hungry "enough" might change it for most people.

I don't remember the taste (of grizzly bear meat) being especially bad, but it was very greasy and very gristly (no, that's not why they call them grizzly bears). My boss did some grizzly bear hunting up in Alaska, had the meat made into bratwurst, and brought some in to work for his employees. I cooked up all 4 brats in the package, but only managed to choke down about half of one of them before giving up and throwing the rest out.
