I'd like to know how many of those states are seriously in debt. Let them secede. Good luck with your inept state governments and no more federal funds.

Come to my place, I'll take in refugees. Yes
After the spring thaw I'll head that way. I haven't been away from cold weather long enough to forget how much I hate it yet. Thanks for the offer. Wink

Louisiana reached 27000+ signatures in 6 days (had till December 7th). They reached the 25K that was needed to be brought to the White House. This is pretty serious.

Tx is over 60K now...from what they said on the radio a petition with at least 25K signers has to be addressed by the president. That may be a speech I will listen to.

Question. Are Republicans retarded? Or just the biggest sore losers known to man?

But in due time, the maggots will have eaten every morsel of flesh off of the rotting corpse of the Republic, and therein lies our opportunity... Why should Vermont and Texas live under the same government? Let each go her own way in peace, sign a free trade agreement among the states and we can avoid this gut-wrenching spectacle every four years."

You want to secede because your guy lost? Move to Canada. (Sorry Canadians, now they're your problem)

Obama is so not-Democrat that he's almost a Republican. The worst thing he's done is tried to provide everyone with healthcare. (There are worse things like extending the Patriot Act, but apparently that's a move that should please Repubs) And yet apparently, that's so offensive that cowboys, swamp people, and plantation owners named Herbert have reached their limit. This is a specific class of people. The religious right have ZERO understanding of other people. They'll fight for the freedom of religion, but only if it's their religion. If they don't get their way, they lose their shit. When they are outvoted, the fact that they are in the minority doesn't stop them from claiming that they are the REAL Americans.
Actually the health care reform IS the republican plan for healthcare reform. The current implementation was their idea awhile back.

Obama is a straight up Republican! Yet they still bitch endlessly, because they are brainwashed idiots who only see the Strawman the Repub's created.

I really wish we had Stawbama was president, now that would be a good President.
Universal health care
Cut defense spending
End wars
Regulate corrupt banks and wal-street

Louisiana is approaching 30K and getting ~15 signatures a minute.

Other states are following suit.

I'll say it again... this looks serious.
