Shoulda listened to my career adviser when I was 16... actuary sounded really boring.

Instead, I don't make the list.

Sad

Edit: funeral directors are #116! Color me surprised. No embalmers though.

Yes mortician ought to be rated higher.
They do not have difficult clients....

You obviously aren't in the funeral profession. Dodgy

RE: 2013 Best and Worst Careers according to Wallstreet.
My plan, a million years ago, was to go into Speech therapy/pathology and/or audiology...my parents said it wasn't worth them helping me out with college because those would never be worth it. Then life happened and I didn't make it there.

They have been on the top of these lists for years.

Yeah, I was just a dumb ass kid that didn't know anything.

That ship has fucking sailed and sunk.

See here they are, the bruises, some were self-inflicted and some showed up along the way. - JF

Dead people don't complain a lot.

Sweet, I'm number 3 on the list hah. Which, from my perspective I understand. It's a great job (for me at least).

I prefer fantasy, but I have to live in reality.

That doesn't necessarily mean they're pleasant. And their grieving relatives are part of the equation too. Ever been the middle man in a fight between 6 estranged children for mom's estate? I have. No

Funny, that's the 3rd time I've seen this today (and I don't spend much time online). Sadly, we don't usually put their shoes on at all. Blush

RE: 2013 Best and Worst Careers according to Wallstreet.
Some of the job descriptions are too vague (such as zoologist and "painter") and it doesn't seem like they actually used their own criteria. How the heck is being a farmer better than being a flight attendant when you take into account physical demands, pay, etc? And apparently being a janitor is better than being a writer?! What the heck?
