Danger-Russ will have his third SuperBowl in his first 4 years in the league. Who's an elite QB? #3, Baby! Go Hawks!!!

Could happen. As we have seen repeatedly in recent years, it's not about who had the best regular-season record. It's about who's healthy and hot at playoff time. Right now, the Seahawks (and Russell Wilson in particular) are as hot as anyone.

The next three Opponent QBs:
Ravens: Jimmy Clausen (Hawks limited him to 68 yards in week 3 when he was with the Bears)
Browns: Johnny Football
Rams: Probably Case Keenum

They won't have a quality qb until week 17 against Carson Palmer, who would likely sit if the Cardinals have clinched their spot.

If Wilson's hot hand continues, he's gonna be racking up some stats. Sending him into the playoffs with that confidence could be epic.

Yeah, I'm a huge homer, but I've got some realistic expectations.

The 13-0 record has a lot to do with it, too. It looks more impressive than 8-5. To me, MVP has always meant "best player", regardless of how good his team happens to be. But the people who do the voting always seem to look at the team's record first.

I remember the year the Green Bay Packers went 15-1, and MVP Aaron Rodgers got to sit at home and watch Eli Manning's 9-7 Giants win the Super Bowl. Manning had the last laugh that year.

I don't think the Ravens have any starters left from week 1 not out for the year. Hobo

Not an elite QB:
Goes to the playoffs the first 4 years of his career.
Won a Super Bowl, was a play away from winning a second.
Record setting five straight games with at least 3 TD passes and no INTs

Wilson played his senior year at the University of Wisconsin (and may be the best QB they've ever had), so we Badger fans have a soft spot for him. Seattle originally drafted him to be the backup to Green Bay Packer super-sub Matt Flynn, who they had just acquired. Wilson was so impressive in training camp that he took the job away from Flynn, and the rest is history.

On the minus side, he thinks that God helps the Seahawks win games. Boo.
