25. You can line up all 8 planets in our solar system directly next to each other and it would fit in the space between Earth and the Moon.

Distance from Earth to moon: 238,900 mi

Diameters of Mercury (3,032) + Mars (4,222) + Earth (7,936) + Venus (7,521) + Saturn (74,898) + Jupiter (88,846) + Neptune (30,778) + Uranus (31,763) = 248,996 mi.

No

At apogee, Earth-Moon distance is 252,000 miles, roughly.

Doesn't say apogee, doesn't say sometimes. Looks like *sometimes* at least, the statement is incorrect.

I believe these are all correct, and as a connoisseur of random, bizarre facts I have also heard most of them before.

It's rare for a list this large on the internet to be completely factually accurate.

I was just offering an explanation. I'm aware that they didn't draw any stipulations.

This one's full of technicality snags. The diameters of the gas giants to the sixth significant digit in kilometers aren't sensible since their atmospheres thin out: to what atmospheric density are those diameters defined?

But more calamitous is stripping Saturn of its rings. Saturn ain't Saturn unless it's got its rings on, so using space tugs to jostle all these planets into juxtaposition will leave Saturn's rings in place and THAT diameter puts the Moon in the middle of some planet's core. And don't gimme any nonsense about tipping Saturn so its rings are perpendicular - you don't want the edge of the rings to start cutting into the stack of supporting turtles. These lists just never quite get everything all taken into account. Facepalm

Well here's something I find interesting.

"Cleopatra lived closer in time to the Moon landing than to the construction of the Great Pyramid of Giza.

Egypt's last pharaoh lived from 69 BC to 30 BC. Her life began a full 2491 years after the Great Pyramid was completed around 2560 BC. However, the first lunar landing in 1969 AD took place less than 2,000 years after her death in 30 BC!"

Shakespeare's Comedy of Errors.... on Donald J. Trump:

He is deformed, crooked, old, and sere,
Ill-fac’d, worse bodied, shapeless every where;
Vicious, ungentle, foolish, blunt, unkind,
Stigmatical in making, worse in mind.

#27 is completely flawed.
the specification for a billiard ball is a diameter plus or minus .005. They take the liberty of thinking that a billiard ball has defects of that size.
The specification is for the measurement, plus or minus .005
If it had flaws that large you could easily see them as you roll the ball on the table.
