Ya, it's one of a handful of songs that I either turn down the radio or change the station when it comes on. Not because it's a bad song but it makes me sad.

Onward, my faithful steed!

Aww see I'm weird, cause I'll turn it up. I like to be sad sometimes Blush

I hope that the world turns, and things get better. But what I hope most of all is that you understand what I mean when I tell you that, even though I do not know you, and even though I may never meet you, laugh with you, cry with you, or kiss you, I love you. With all my heart, I love you. - V for Vendetta

I have to already be sad to want to listen to sad music. If I'm not sad then why would I want to make myself sad.

This is a good point though sometimes for me if the lyrics feel right somehow or are good enough, I'll want to listen to a sad song anyways. Or at least that's just me maybe.

Sad song. Toss up between these two, both from the same album.

Barenaked Ladies, this one always got me.

But now I have come to believe that the whole world is an enigma, a harmless enigma that is made terrible by our own mad attempt to interpret it as though it had an underlying truth.

Yeah, I see what you mean. I'm able to shake it off once the song is over tho, so I don't mind a moment of that sweet pure sharp emotion, and to have it flow with a beautiful sad song. Ok Unsure I'm being really weird now Laugh out load

Day 4: A song that reminds me of a person

This would be Siren's Song by Parkway Drive (again - I know, there's a reason I like the bands I do Tongue). This is also kind of sad though, it's about a girl who OD-ed on drugs. It reminds me of a friend in high school who did the same thing, I was the last person she texted.

Lyrics:
Virtue is lost

Beyond this sleek veneer
Beneath the neon existence
Her face is grey
And everything she longs for turns to black
The chemicals bring little vindication
And white lines lace every vein
Does she realise what she's become?

But she's not waking
And She's still failing
But she's not waking
She's still failing

Follow the siren's song,
To face this empty cycle.
Searching the darkest nights
Searching the silence

And does it make you sick?
"Can you hear me, Is She Conscious?"
Does it make you feel beautiful?
Bloodshed under the streetlight.

And does it make you sick?
"Oh God! We've got a bleeder here."
Does it make you beautiful?
Heartbreak under the streetlight.

She's lost again.
Adrenalin Strains Corrupted Arteries

Virtue is lost

Beyond this sleek veneer
Beneath the neon existence
Her face is grey
And everything she longs for is pulling away

Follow the siren's song
To face this empty cycle.
Searching the darkest night
Searching the silence.

Follow the siren's song,
To face this empty cycle.
Searching the darkest night,
Searching the silence.

Dead by first light,
They can't wipe the blood from her eyes.
Dead by first light,
They can't wipe the blood from her eyes.

Dead by,
Dead by first light.
Dead by,
Dead by first light.

Warning Explicit Lyrics!

Lol, hard to imagine that he has a three year old daughter now!

Onward, my faithful steed!
