57 Trump lies so far, and counting
Updated weekly:

The complete list of all 57 false things Donald Trump has said as president

A few examples, directly from the article:

The claim: “Sen. Richard Blumenthal, who never fought in Vietnam when he said for years he had (major lie), now misrepresents what Judge Gorsuch told him?” (Trump added out loud: “His comments were misrepresented.”)

In fact: Blumenthal accurately relayed the remarks of Trump’s Supreme Court nominee Neil Gorsuch. Blumenthal told reporters that Gorsuch had described as “demoralizing and disheartening” Trump’s attack on a judge who ruled against his travel ban. A spokesman for Gorsuch confirmed that Gorsuch used those precise words.
--------------------------------
The claim: “It is a disgrace that my full Cabinet is still not in place, the longest such delay in the history of our country.”

In fact: Trump does not even come close to the record for the longest delay before having a full cabinet in place. We only have to go back one presidency for proof: Barack Obama didn’t have his final cabinet member confirmed until April 28, 2009, 99 days into his presidency. Trump wasn’t even a full 19 days into his presidency when he posted this tweet.
--------------------------------
The repeated claim: “I have already saved more than $700 million when I got involved in the negotiation on the F-35. You know about that.”

In fact: Trump did not personally secure these savings: Lockheed Martin had been moving to cut the price well before Trump was elected, multiple aviation and defence experts say... “Trump’s claimed $600 million cut is right in the ballpark of what the price reduction was going to be all along,” wrote Popular Mechanics. “Bottom line: Trump appears to be taking credit for years of work by the Pentagon and Lockheed,” Aviation Week reported, per the Washington Post.

I wouldn't hold my breath while counting. It will be a very long list. Con Man gone president. You have to let that one roll off your tongue, like good wine. Just to actually believe it.

The total of confirmed lies now stands (as of today, March 3, 2017) at 114.

The complete list of all 114 false things Donald Trump has said as president

A few examples from the article:

The repeated claim: “I am sending the Congress a budget that rebuilds the military, eliminates the defense sequester, and calls for one of the largest increases in national defense spending in American history.”

In fact: His proposed increase, of about 10 per cent, is not one of the largest in history, experts say. "Trump's historical increase is actually quite average..."

Feb. 28, 2017 — Remarks while signing executive order on Waters of the United States

The claim: “In one case in Wyoming, a rancher was fined $37,000 a day by the EPA for digging a small watering hole for his cattle. His land.”

In fact: The rancher did more than dig a small hole, FactCheck.org found: without a permit, he “constructed a dam on Six Mile Creek, a waterway deemed by the EPA to be a tributary of the Blacks Fork River, which in turn is a tributary of the Green River.

Feb. 27, 2017 — Interview with Breitbart News

The claim about New York Times journalist Michael Barbaro: “For instance, when people read the story on the women – first of all, the reporter who wrote the story has a website full of hatred of Donald Trump. So, he shouldn’t be allowed to be a reporter because he’s not objective.”

In fact: Barbaro does not have a website.

57 lies as President? Are you sure that isn't 57 lies today? Tongue

@DonaldTrump, Patriotism is not honoring your flag no matter what your country/leader does. It's doing whatever it takes to make your country the best it can be as long as its not violent.

Indeed. I was wondering if someone forgot an exponent. 57 to the power of X amount of lies, is what I was expecting.

Hi,

The problem with this Trump stuff is that it has become boring. If he were a bloke in a bar people would have turned away long back, or smacked him.

What happens when you give a bore your full attention?

He's the president now. We have to pay attention to his bullshit. Even before it was absolutely ridiculous how much he got away with. We need to hold him accountable.

He didn't drain the swamp. So, he lied about that.

Drain, fill with used reactor fuel rods, what's the difference?

Keystone oil pipeline won’t have to use American steel despite Trump’s vow
http://www.marketwatch.com/story/keyston...2017-03-04

"A Trump administration official said an executive order approving two pipeline projects and mandating the use of American-made steel won’t apply to the construction of the Keystone XL oil pipeline, despite prior statements by President Donald Trump that it would.

Days after taking office in January, Trump signed an executive order to speed approval of two pipeline projects that had been blocked by the Obama administration, the Keystone XL and the Dakota Access Pipeline. On several occasions since then, President Trump has said that the order would require the use of steel made in the U.S.

As recently as last week, Trump said that Keystone and the Dakota Access Pipeline must use U.S. steel “or we’re not building one.”

On Friday, however, White House spokeswoman Sarah Huckabee Sanders told reporters that the presidential order applies to new pipelines or those that are being repaired.

“And since this one is already currently under construction, the steel is already literally sitting there, it would be hard to go back,” she said, referring to Keystone XL. “But I know that everything moving forward would fall under that executive order.”

That contradicts Trump’s public assertions that the pipelines would fall under the pledge he has said his administration would follow in building public and private infrastructure: “buy American and hire American.”
