All that aside, my heart goes out to all the congregation, the community, the family and friends of the victims. It was a sub-human and barbaric attack. I hope they throw the book at him. They probably will.

It is not enough to simply throw the book at one person. The climate of worship of an object has to change.

What object is being worshiped?

GUNS YOU MORON! Far too many people treat guns like holy books. Tell them there is something wrong with them people get willing to kill to protect them.

Guns are not humans, they are objects. Humans have rights, objects do not. Your stupid fucking argument here says that you lack any semblance of even mere pragmatism.

If guns were not worshiped like holy books people would not be willing to kill over them.

You're awful long on yelling and screaming and blaming "the gun industry" --- AND at the same time you claim you don't want to infringe on anyone's right to own a gun....

SOOOOO

...

quit the bullshit -- quit the screaming ----- and give us your clear, concise solution.

NO bullshit allowed.

Just EXACTLY what you would like to see done.....

I'm betting you can't.

I guess I missed the lesson on the prayer to the gun.

And fuck you, you ignorant punk.

This isn't a gun issue...it is quite probably a mental health issue and a racist issue. Grow the fuck up and widen your view of the world a little.

I must go pray with my rosary made of bullets now.

Once more, you demonstrate your inability to mount a cogent point.

RE: 9 Dead in SC church shooting
A 'gun free' zone, and all the restrictive laws and bans and prohibitions that come with it, make it real easy for these psychopaths to pick their soft targets. Most of these mass shootings happen at places like schools, churches, restaurants, and other, 'gun free' zones, places filled with soft targets. You never hear about these tragedies occurring at NRA conventions or gun shows. Why is that? Consider

Also, there are already thousands of existing federal, state and local gun laws on the books. Obviously, they don't do anything to help. Quite the opposite, they make for unarmed and defenseless victims.

Finally - Where was their god?

The motive as far as Christians are concerned is either going to be Atheists or Satan.

As for what Obama said, this kind of violence does not happen in other advanced countries? Are you fucking kidding me? That statement doesn't even deserve to be dignified with a response with how badly wrong it is.

Darts, pool, yoga, bonsai, nature photography, playing musical instruments, dominoes, tai chi, painting, origami, cross stitch, dominoes, ...

You could even become a crack shot with a slug gun rather than a fire arm. Or perhaps a bow and arrow?

Many, many options regarding de-stress.

Is it worth it to have a hobby that ultimately provides hand guns to criminals which are then used to facilitate robberies, muggings, rapes, home invasions, hate crimes, murders etc?

Because of your hobby, a person who isn't into guns is much more likely to be the victim facing the pointy end of a gun.
Once you decide to have guns freely available for all then other people are then forced to either move to another country or buy a gun for protection.

The thing about gun protection: The encounters become lethal
You against one combatant, you have a 50% chance of survival (unless they surprise you, but for now let's just assume they give you plenty of warning first before attacking you)
For two encounters your chances are 25%
For three encounters your chances are 12.5%.

Or let's say you have a family of four. If each of you face just one encounter each then the chances that your whole family survives is just 6.25%.

It doesn't really seem (to me) to be an effective strategy for survival. The best option, if survival is really important, would be to move into a safer country where handguns are uncommon and crime rates are acceptably low. Stick to safe well light highly visible areas, avoid conflict...
