A Choice.
I'm not sure this is appropriate for this forum, or this section, but I wanted the advice of some intelligent people from an objective view point on something I need to choose.

The choice is which course to study at university. I can have either, I just need to choose. They are:

1. History and Politics (see http://www.stir.ac.uk/undergraduate-stud...s/history/ and http://www.stir.ac.uk/undergraduate-stud...olitics/).

2. Politics, Philosophy and Economics (see http://www.stir.ac.uk/undergraduate-stud...ics-ppe/).

I intend to pursue a career in journalism or continue on as a postgraduate and move into academic work. I have other choices, but these are the two I most want so what do you think? I want intelligent advice from an objective view, so I decided to post here for it.

Hope you don't think this is a waste of a thread, but here it is anyway. Any advice which appears (if any) is much appreciated.

RE: A Choice.
Just my 2 cents, but I would go with the economics and politics option. I imagine at the end it will probably lead you to better chances at employment.
