A Volbeat tribute thread
Volbeat is a newish band that is pretty much just making it into the spotlight after opening for bands like Metallica, Megadeth, and Nightwish for the last decade. Rarely do I click on a song of theirs that I'd never heard before and not like it. They're Danish, so the lyrics don't always make sense, but they've otherwise transitioned to the English language pretty well. Every song (at least to me) is rich with melody and inflection that is obviously influenced by The Misfits and Elvis, among others.

This was basically their first single that made it to American airwaves.

This is clever in that's its chorus is "counting all the assholes in the room. Well I'm definitely not alone." And the title of the song is Still Counting.

This one is a pure eargasmic symphony. If this one isn't my favorite...

...then this one is.

Ah hell, one more for the spirit of the forum.

"Ain't got no last words to say, yellow streak right up my spine. The gun in my mouth was real and the taste blew my mind."

"We see you cry. We turn your head. Then we slap your face. We see you try. We see you fail. Some things never change."
