A carrot to anyone that can explain this to me.
WHY THE FUCK ARE CARROTS ALWAYS COLD!!
Seriously.. it's fucking weird.

I brought a bag of carrots today to munch on because they're way fucking cheaper than apples and they're fucking tasty.
But has anyone else noticed, carrots are always fucking cold..
And no, it's not because they were in the fridge... I have them on my bed at the moment because that's where I put them when I got home earlier and my room is of above warm temperature and has been for some time, yet I go to eat a carrot and the things as cold as fucking ice..

These things retain absolutely no heat. It baffles me.
I'm tempted to put one in the microwave and see if it comes out cold.

Maybe carrots are good conductors of heat so they feel cool, like a metal. First guess, but I'm clueless.

Because people keep them in the fridge. Smile
Seriously though if i take a carrot out of the fridge it will keep cool for a long time, so there is somthing to your observations.

Maybe you can put your carrots under your blanket, since they are already in your bed.

Density could be a possibility. Something dense loses heat slowly while something less dense loses heat quickly. Density is like insulation.

Just a guess, though. Maybe you purchased the radioactive carrots. Drinking Beverage

I think you will find that all root veggies retain cold longer.

They're in the fridge now. Figured they'd last longer (because I'd eat them if they were on my bed).

There's radioactive carrots!?

Consider

I shall have to buy some potatoes to see if this holds true.

Parsnips are just like carrots but white, with a more subtle taste. Dodgy ween

You could also easily try a density test with a pear and an apple.

Apples and pears are similar but pears have a greater density. Hence; apples float, pears do not.

Fridge a pear and an apple over night.
Take them out in the morning and set them out of the sun in another room but not too close together.
At the end of the day, cut both in half and feel which core is cooler.

Best part of the experiment is you get to eat your test subjects. Wink
