A friend's son is dying
Just found out that my former boss's son has an inoperable terminal brain tumor. He is only 6. A sweet beautiful boy.

Of course, I don't pray for, or have any anger toward a non-existent God. I am moved to near tears for her. She's heartbroken.

I just want to go home and hold my 4 year old son and tell him I love him.

Why are you still reading this line when it is obviously my signature line?

I can't even imagine... So sorry to hear this...

Hey, Boe.

That's horrible. It just seems so unfair. All my love to you, your boss and her little boy.

Peace and Love and Empathy,

Matt

Same from me. How awful. Sometimes biology sucks. Best wishes to her and her family and hope the doctors can find a way to prove themselves wrong.

Shackle their minds when they're bent on the cross
When ignorance reigns, life is lost

Sorry to hear that man. Life sure can be the shits sometimes. My heart goes out to the many people that will feel the pain of such a tradgedy.

So many cats, so few good recipes.

As my life was formed
out of the stardust of a great cosmic bang
I made a deal with nature
one day, I will become that same stardust again
but the person that once was me
will live on in the neurons of others
who, in a merciful twist of fortune
will only remember my good days

I am moved to tears. There's nothing else to do but cry.

As it was in the beginning is now and ever shall be, world without end. Amen.
And I will show you something different from either
Your shadow at morning striding behind you
Or your shadow at evening rising to meet you;
I will show you fear in a handful of dust.

RE: A friend's son is dying
There was a picture on her facebook page of her son and her daughter, a few years younger than Foster. It was the first day of preschool for her daughter and 1st grade for Foster. She said she wanted to recreate that photo every year so she can see how her kids are growing. I only could think that one day that photo would only contain her daugher..

Before I go to bed tonight I'm going to watch my son sleep.

Life is unfair, when situations like these crop up I feel nothing but anger for the religious saying 'he's with god now' or 'god works in mysterious ways'...

if their church paid taxes maybe NICA would have more money to prevent these things from happening.
