A new study suggests there are at least two trillion galaxies in the universe
http://www.popularmechanics.com/space/a2...-galaxies/

Quote: A new study from a team of international astronomers, led by astrophysicists from the University of Nottingham with support from the Royal Astronomical Society (RAS), has produced some astounding results: The universe contains at least two trillion galaxies, 10 times more than the highest previous estimates. What's more, the new study suggests that 90 percent of all galaxies are hidden from us, and only the remaining 10 percent can be seen at all, even with our most powerful telescopes. The paper detailing the study was published today in the Astrophysical Journal.

But not the tiniest chance of life in any one of those. That would be ridiculous!

Space is big. Really big. You just won't believe how vastly, hugely, mind-bogglingly big it is. I mean, you may think it's a long way down the road to the chemist, but that's just peanuts to space.

I'm more interested in what is beyond those galaxies. Or if it's just more of the same.

It's galaxies, all the way down.

And to add to that thought is that our tiny, inconsequential ball of cooling magma is THE reason for the whole thing.

There could be several places in our solar system alone that have life on them:

It's looking like Pluto should be added to that list soon.

Actually they tried to warn us. For years, but humans just thought they were doing tricks like jumping threw hoops, and back flips.
