A quick introduction of a newbie
Hi

I 'm from Belgium. My native language would be dutch to excuse me if my English is a bit strange sometimes.Blush

Born in 1975. Male.

I recently posted my "debabtism" from the roman catholic church after a big scandal that arose in the Belgian RKC. (Paedophilia and lots of it in a very cruel way) I've had it with the hypocrisy in religion. Angry

On this forum I hope to find trails to a way to raise my own children without the indoctrination of a 2000 year old and outdated book. (I will become a father in march) Heart

edit: Sneaky abuse of moderation power to edit bad spelling. The grammar bad remains though...

I did!
Not only did I find the answers I was looking for, I found so much more...

Oh man, where's the time...
I was so uninformed in those days.

I've noticed that myself too.
I did a lot of reading and that certainly helped. It’s still hard to say things exactly the way they bubble up in my mind though.

And then there’s google translate for some loose words here and there.

people...

I feel as this forum made me a better human!

(funny thing is that I'm almost sure I make a lot of recursive mistakes without me knowing it)

And I think the forum's better for having you.

Best and worst of Ferdinand .....
Best
Ferdinand: We don't really say 'theist' in Alabama. Here, you're either a Christian, or you're from Afghanistan and we fucking hate you.
Worst
Ferdinand: Everyone from British is so, like, fucking retarded.

For real, man. The fact that you were willing and able to share with this forum what you went through with the loss of your parents showed me this was a true community of real people. Not just some unknown, unfeeling monkeys sitting behind monitors out there in InterwebWorld.
