I did cite a science abstract regarding the TENS in my above post but TENS doesn't go with some woo-hoo Chi thing. It sends slight electric current pulses into the muscle and the surrounding areas that are hurting and relaxes the area that's inflamed. Physical therapists use them.

I have one and it actually does work. It's not a cure but it allows the muscle to relax which eases the pain.

Acupuncture: unfettered bullshit.

Topical electrical stimulation: actually legit.

The only people interested in conflating the two are woo-peddlers looking to fallaciously associate their woo with something that might actually help somebody.
(well - them, and the people they sell to...)
