Humanmetrics Jung Typology Test
http://www.humanmetrics.com/cgi-win/jtypes2.asp

Now normally I couldn't care less about bullshit internet personality tests, but this one is supposedly built upon the Jung Typology Test developed by Carl Jung and Isabel Briggs Meyers. You answer a number of yes/no questions, and it spits out a 4 letter 'type' that gives you a rough idea of where you stand according to a number different personality factors.

I came out as a INTP (introvert, intuitive, thinking, perceptive).

Quote:You have distinctive preference of Introversion over Extraversion (67%)
You have slight preference of Intuition over Sensing (12%)
You have moderate preference of Thinking over Feeling (25%)
You have slight preference of Perceiving over Judging (11%)

Also, here is a fun graphic associating all of the possible types with matching Harry Potter characters. Looks like I'm Hermione... Tongue

RE: Humanmetrics Jung Typology Test
I'm an INTJ.

Why don't you add a poll to your thread so we can see which type is the most prevalent on TTA?

There are 16 possible types, and the forum polls max out at 11 options unfortunately. I can keep a running tally instead.

RE: Humanmetrics Jung Typology Test
I think this is maybe the fifth thread on this subject

Most here are INTJs

I'll fish out the links to the earlier threads when I get home.

But it's worth redoing occasionally to see how one changes over time.

Edit:
This one uses the same link as the OP.

I'm certain there was one more after Dark Light's thread but I can't find it.

Somehow, that doesn't surprise me. Still, I you post the links to the older thread it'll be fun to read through them. I've yet to see one of them, then again, I'm rarely over in the coffeehouse (regardless of how much I use this emoticon Drinking Beverage ). Laughat

RE: Humanmetrics Jung Typology Test
INTP

You have strong preference of Introversion over Extraversion (89%)
You have distinctive preference of Intuition over Sensing (75%)
You have marginal or no preference of Thinking over Feeling (1%)
You have distinctive preference of Perceiving over Judging (67%)

All information in the above post is my own opinion and will not
necessarily be logically sound or conform to reality as we know it.

You have been warned. Tongue

Thanks, I tried to pull out every test answer I could find and added them to the tally.

Good job with the data collation.

This is scary for two reasons:
1) That there are so many INTJs (when it's supposed to be <1% of the population).
2) That you have nothing better to do with you life! Laughat

So conclusion?
ThinkingAtheists are more likely to be Thinkers
or
People who spend too much time in the virtual world are more likely to be Introverts

Consider

I always come out as "ExTy"?
Always extrovert/thinking; the x and y are borderline scores that seem to vary by test and mood, though more often ENTJ than not.

Ah, the burden of the lonely extrovert. Weeping

Skepticism is not a position; it is an approach to claims.
Science is not a subject, but a method.

I'm fairly certain there has been 2 or 3 since mine, including the Harry Potter one, but I was unsuccessful in my search as well.

I assume you got my data off of my ancient thread, but if not I am an INTJ.

edit: You got mine, never mind. Carry on, nothing to see...
