A couple of guys who were being bullied said "Fuck it, I'm just going commando then". ... Brilliant!

Would be an honor to have my ass sumoed by you GB. Just keep in mind, my dad used to remind me to do my chores with a 2X4. It made me stubborn, which means you'll probably have to just sit on me until I pass out. Hope you're patient!

RE: Are most Atheists "Thinkers" due to their personality type?
Let's put it this way, intelligence or personal intuition really has nothing to do with personal belief.. they can be forced onto people by some basic psychological hacks as shown in these videos.

Also remember that most of us were also theists before so it won't take long before everyone else realizes the truth.

I have meet plenty of intelligent Theists in my day, and personally do not believe that intelligence is the cause of our non-belief. Of course it can be at least partially attributed to environmental factors at least part of the time, but I am curious if there is a trend for our personalities. Of course all personality tests are flawed in some way, as are all of the social sciences, but I have found a pretty good one www.personalitytest.net based on the "International Personality Item Pool Representation of the NEO PI-R".There are more in-depth ones out there, but they usually cost money, this one is completely free. I would appreciate it of you would take it and post your religious belief, or non-belief type, and your personality type based on the results of the test. The more data available, the more accurate this will be.

If my suspicions are correct, it may explain why such a small portion of our worlds population are non-believers, and why so many are Theists (some personality types are much more common than others.

I will start by saying I am an Atheist. My personality type is INTJ

Atheist ESTJ: "Administrator". Much in touch with the external environment. These are responsible mates and parents and are loyal to the workplace. They are realistic, down-to-earth, orderly, and love tradition. They often find themselves joining civic clubs! 13% of the total population.

It's also worth noting that under the career section, it lists not only my current job (auditor), but my previous job of 10 years as well. (Regulatory compliance examiner)

A newborn baby is an atheist.

Not sure how that works with your theory. ;-)

Pretty sure the theory is based on those who have been presented with the case for religion and have taken the time to weigh the evidence.

I'm still trying to get my three yr old to answer the questions on the test to figure out what four letter label I can give him, but so far the best I can come up with is "STOP"!

But now I have come to believe that the whole world is an enigma, a harmless enigma that is made terrible by our own mad attempt to interpret it as though it had an underlying truth.
