RE: All things coffee
Drinking Beverage Well...
I like any coffee with a little of creamer and sugar.
But, I agree with Frankie.
I'm more of a tea drinker.
Anything original or herbal when it comes to tea, is good with me.

PS. In the future, I plan to own my own tea/coffee shop.
Come visit and support me, if I make it?

I've been away from the computer because the parents freak out when they see the word Atheist, but now I'm at school, so. Smile

It's like a cup of double awesomeness! Thumbsup

I hope your tea/coffee shop has some nice cinnamon rolls too. Drooling

For convenience (and price) I drink instant coffee, normally Nescafe or Kenco.... when I am in my Town Center I occasionally pop into Costa-Coffee to appreciate there vanilla cappuccinos and overpriced pastries.

If I have a full English Breakfast then it has accompanied by a nice cup of tea (blasphemy to some I imagine)

Does a full English Breakfast include English Muffins? Drooling

Muffins with melted cheese Drooling

I have never ever seen a Muffin with a full english..... normally its either toast or fried bread.

Full English isn't like a Full Monty, is it? Blink

Ah, I was wondering why you hadn't been online for about an age. Good to see you back. Thumbsup

Anyway, coffee doesn't really go down that well with me... makes me feel a bit sick if I have too much, but I suppose that will happen if you have too much of anything. Big Grin

I don't drink much coffee... I'm more of a tea connoisseur.

I just steep a bag in my hot coffee. Constant Comment's pretty good with coffee.

RE: All things coffee
At the risk of incurring the wrath of Tersy Chas I love tea more than coffee, but wait! I really enjoy a short black with cream after dinner at a restaurant and also I like a coffee mixed with Milo which sorta makes it a choc/coffee which is pretty good.

I'm no expert but I like it to be strong and black, a little like my coffee Big Grin

RE: All things coffee
Oh yes, I just liked the heck out of every pertinent coffee post in this thread. Yup!

Ahhhhh, coffee. Damnit, now I'd like a cup, but it's midnight. Angry

I have a home espresso machine and use it daily. Make my own Espressos and/or Lattes and/or Cappuchinos and/or Mochas. It's quick and easy, tastes great and I can try out all kinds of coffees. I grind it just before making some.

I like tea black and strong. Sugar and/or lemon in it occasionally, never milk.

This is pretty well me, but add peppermint tea and camomile tea.

But back to coffee. After having my first morning brew at home, I have every and all kinds. Cheap, expensive. Instant, elaborate. Sketchy, free trade. Franchized, hand picked. Gimme!

Not to say they are all my preference. But, I will say that in certain situations one or the other will fit the bill. If you're camping in the middle of no where and you just slept on rocks and listened to wolves and coyotes prancing around your tent all night and think there might have even been a bear - (*inhale breath)- then instant will do. Smile

But, if you are walking down a street in -insert favourite city here- and you get CHOICES, well then, pick the most flavourful, dreamy and perfect cup.

I'll drink it black, sugar/cream (not too much) or honey. Usually brown sugar if I have the choice. Depends how I feel. (Coffee is an experience, obvy). Occasionally I will add a pinch of cinnamon to the grounds at home or an enhanced flavoured version.

Basically, I'm a coffee slut... err, nut. Make that BEAN!

But, alas, there are negative sides to being a coffee lover.

If I drink too much in a day combined with many days in a row, I've discovered this unease of heart palpitations- kind of feels like anxiety + chest pressure. No not good. This is another life lesson in balance, I've realized. I have to cut back for weeks, and even stop all together for awhile, just to correct course. Those days suck. Like migraine, lethargic, achy-muscle suck.

And now: Since this is an atheist site, an atheist perspective of coffee discrimination.

Big Grin When does AM roll around? Mmm, aroma!
