Amazon question for UK members
There is a book I want that costs $260 on Amazon but $75 on Amazon UK. Unfortunately, it can't be shipped from Great Britain to my address and I can't use my giftcard to buy it from Amazon UK. Does anyone know how I can get this book?

RE: Amazon question for UK members
Perhaps I could paypal the money to a UK member and they could buy and ship it to me? Considering that I have a $100 gift card, I'd be willing to use $25 to buy something and ship it to you.

I don't know why you cannot use your gift card on Amazon.uk? I used mine on amazon.de.

Weird. A page on amazon says that it can't be used elsewhere.

"Neither your Amazon.com Balance nor your Gift Cards may be applied to the purchase of products at http://www.amazon.at, http://www.amazon.com.br, http://www.amazon.ca, http://www.amazon.cn, http://www.amazon.de, http://www.amazon.es, http://www.amazon.fr, http://www.amazon.in, http://www.amazon.it, http://www.amazon.co.jp, http://www.amazon.com.mx, http://www.amazon.co.uk, or any website other than the website(s) listed in Section 1 above. Your Amazon.com Balance cannot be used to purchase other Gift Cards. Gift Cards cannot be reloaded, resold, transferred for value or redeemed for cash, except to the extent required by law. No portion of your Amazon.com Balance may be transferred to another Amazon.com account."

Alternatively, you could use a parcel forwarding service that would accept the Amazon UK delivery for you and proceed to ship it to your address regardless of where you are.

Here's an example: https://www.forward2me.com/
