)U.K.'s Top Gear is light years better than the U.S's.
)But then over here, instead of fish, the chips sit next to a double beef patty - 4 cheese - bacon wrapped - triple bypass - pork fat burger - dipped in honey, and fried in whale blubber! Drooling

Now the question is does the milk go in first or the tea? Consider

I think the vast majority of people here brew tea with teabags, as opposed to loose tea. There are some who would say that putting the milk in first blocks the perforations of the bag and cools the hot water when added.

I add my milk first, with tea and coffee.

I feel so much, and yet I feel nothing.

I am the wind, in the fields in which I roar. I am the water, in which I drown.

And Americans seem to have a fascination with the royal family. What's with that?

It is mostly Disney's glorification of Royalty and stuff. Plus, we don't have anything like it where we are from.

Personally, I really could care less.

I remember when Princess Diana died and all three American tv networks broadcast the funeral. I mean, I was sorry she died but a live broadcast of her funeral was a bit much.

It was as if we became British for a few days. It was kinda weird.

RE: America vs England arguments
Only reason I ever slightly cared was to see what the two princes looked like (yes, blame Disney for me giving barely two shits). I didn't know they existed until Princess Diana died - and I didn't know who she was until she died.

Prince William was cute growing up and his brother ehh, now Prince William is meh and his brother Harry turned out to be HOT. Go figure.

Until the "Royal Wedding" was all over the news, I didn't realize there were other princesses (who wear hideous hats, apparently). And really, calling Kate Middleton a commoner, what the fuck ever. She was the daughter of millionaires who sent her to the same fucking private school as the crowned prince of England. Poor her. Rolleyes

How the fuck are titles still a thing? I don't give a damn who your Daddy is, I give a damn who you are...congratufuckinglations, your family has a history of making money off the backs of peasants. Someone give you a cookie. I'm not bowing or curtsying or what the fuck ever.

Also. Americans drive on the *right* side of the road. Those across the pond drive on the *wrong* side of the road. Tongue

I can take the cookies being biscuits and warm beer and some of the other things, I love the Brits but, YES, they drive on the wrong fucking side of the road. And not only that but the steering wheel is also on the wrong side. It's like they've evolved into a slightly different form of human.
