The two overwhelming themes for voters this election seem to be either apathy or anger.

I think the electorate is going through the 5 stages of grief over losing any trust at all in the process or any of the "leaders" or most of the rest of the electorate...

My primary motive is the same this year as every year. Voting is a privilege and a right that not everyone in this world has and which I don't take lightly or for granted. It's my opportunity to personally indicate which candidates I find more suitable for their respective jobs and I won't throw that away.

I am not accountable to any God. I am accountable to myself - and not because I think I am God as some theists would try to assert - but because, no matter what actions I take, thoughts I think, or words I utter, I have to be able to live with myself.

To do my part, in at least trying, to make sure Trump does not get elected.
That's about it. Undecided

To vote against the use of condoms in pornography and legalize the pot and vote against how much more difficult it will be to get ammo.

I'm going to spend the morning wanking off.

It's more productive than what you're going to do.

Sure - both activities will make you feel good ---

But at the end of the day, I'll have something to show for my efforts...........

Yeah but... voting doesn't stain the carpet. Big Grin

or the walls and ceiling....

To prevent a narcissistic authoritarian from assuming the most powerful office in the land and thereby threatening the integrity of every democratic institution and constitutional amendment.

So you didn't vote for Clinton I see.

Whatever faults you can lay at Clinton's feet ---and there are admittedly many--- narcissism and authoritarianism are not among them. On the other hand, authoritarian strongsmanship has actually been one of the Trump's main selling points to his constituency, they don't even view it as a flaw.
