One could think that man created god in his own image - no wonder that he is a prick.

The first revolt is against the supreme tyranny of theology, of the phantom of God. As long as we have a master in heaven, we will be slaves on earth.

Exactly. But it is not surprising, as he is product of human imagination. So what other emotion he could have?

Also he is thought as caring as there is no comfort in believing in cold and uncaring deity. This to point to man creating god, not other way around I think.

Tell you what, if you took all the assertions out of the bible, took out the "Lord", "Good", "Saviour" words. And merely had the actions as if they were fact.
Then the god would be looking like a real douche.

We already know the god is a douche but the religious fold hang onto the assertions.

It's like Mohammad Ali constantly calling himself the Greatest, We still now have many claiming him as the Greatest. The power of assertions.
