I've read some about Marx and Mao, but I'm also not fond of extremes -- any idea can be taken too far, as well as being open to interpretation decades later.
Capitalism is THE definition of extreme. There are billionaires who rule and unpaid slaves who are ruled(owned as property)--brutally. Of course the rulers and their minions love themselves some capitalism and will defend it to the death.

Again, I said I'm not a fan of extremes, yet it seems by your words you assumed I'm a fan of capitalism?

Or did you use my point to attack capitalism, because again, I'm not a fan of extremes. Hmmm?

But as if to knock me down, reality came around
And without so much as a mere touch, cut me into little pieces

I have. I've also traveled to Hong Kong and China.
So, you were there during the Great leap forward and the Cultural Revolution?

Well, like other religious people, who are trying to defend their religion in futile attempts, you chose the most stupid approach to defend yours, didnt you?
I wasnt witnessing the big bang, yet i can confidently say it happened.
I wasnt observing *macro* evolution myself, but can confidently claim it happened.

But lets stick to your hilarious way to argue: First you argue that studying Marx and Mao is necessary and required. Then you argue that one has to actually have been in China during Maos reign? Really?
Were you in China during the Great leap forward and the Cultural Revolution?

Ceterum censeo, religionem delendam esse

So, your visit to China was not during that time period, I take it.

I disagree with your statement that Capitalism is the definition of extreme. If we are discussing an oligarchy I'd say Communism is a much better example.

RE: Anarchy, Communism and Nationalism
Bottom line 2.0: Marxism/Leninism/Maoism(MLM) speak to the vast majority of human beings that are either chatel slaves, indentured slaves , "peasants"(poor farmers) or wage workers, such that they overthrow the capitalist owning/ruling CLASS and petit bourgeoisie, if they resist, and take control of the resources and means of production, i.e., POWER. It gives the vast majority of humanity POWER over their lives and kicks the elite minority and their minions to the curb. So, of course the latter HATE MLM and do not want it because they lose POWER.

That's all it is.

How can you disagree with the fact that in current capitalism there are billionaires, even a few trillionaires, on the high end and chatel slaves on the low end. That is factual information. Hence, capitalism is heavily oligarchic. Socialism/Communism, is, by definition, the antithesis of oligarchy. It is the "rule of the proletariat", that is, the vast CLASS of humanity, not an autocrat or oligarchy.
