Phoenix? Nah. I used to live in Sterling, MA; you could look up some nights and fall into the sky, the stars would catch you. Here? Just the major stars - Venus, Jupiter... Luna. Tongue

Oh Sheesh! I almost forgot to use my favorite joke from 7th Grade.

"Hey, Chas. I went out to watch the meteor shower but all I saw was Uranus!"

[Damn those PC scientists who changed the Public School pronunciation from YourAnus to Yurunus. Sad ]

How long ago? I'm in Harvard. The sky is getting less dark all the time.

Now. Go. This is a spiritual experience.

Sadly I live in Seattle. The only showers we have here are wet.
But I did open my front door and the Space Needle looks really pretty with a lighted tree on top. Smile

Wouldn't you know; the past week was clear as a bell. Rain and fog is all we have all during the meteor shower... bummer. Undecided

Shy I'm going to see if I can find an observatory show. It might be the only way I'll get to see it. Better than nothing.

That's a great suggestion. Let me know if you find a good one.
