(starting at around 2:30 is where it gets really interesting)

Ach, I think it was harder before that breakdown, crash-bashing while doing short double bass patternts aren't too hard to do. This one has a harder bass pattern:

Nick does a left, left, ( <-heel-toe) right, left, right, left, right through almost his entire version of Rattlehead

Is that like an evil flying spaghetti monster on the front of his kit? Right on!

But now I have come to believe that the whole world is an enigma, a harmless enigma that is made terrible by our own mad attempt to interpret it as though it had an underlying truth.

I'm not a drummer so I wouldn't know for sure, but it seems like the offset snare pattern along with the double bass would be a nightmare to pull off.

yeah, it kinda reminds me of Lars Ulrichs style before his drumming turned to shit, hitting the snare in a non-linear style. But it's pretty easy to learn if you just know what song you're playing and that you tell your brain to say "NO! not yet! ... now!". It's the same rule when you learn to hit your snare twice instead of just once, as in this part of in Ashes in Your Mouth where you have to learn how to hit four times; after a while it just sticks in your brain, and it allows you to do improvs and whatever you want acually:

It could be my last post in a while; I'm on the fence if I wanna stay here or not.
