Even Tom Sawyer, when played correctly, is incredibly difficult. He has been quoted as saying any time he plays it right it's a good night because it's that hard.

Neil is a natural talent, a damn genius. Seen plenty of his solos.

But there is more challenging stuff out there believe me:

Dream Theater started as a Rush cover band. It's easy to impress when you stand on the shoulders of giants. Thumbsup

My request:

Obviously not the original (not quite up to Phil and Chester's standards) but at least you can see what he's doing so it should be easy to learn.

And when you've mastered that, there's this:

But if you want to get seriously tribal; best headset on, turn out the lights, turn it up to 11 and shut your eyes. The 'sound' at 2:52 is... I dunno... physical!

This is honestly one of the most fun songs out there to play. It leaves so much room for improv, so you can do pretty much anything you want in this song:

This is how Nick played it:

Fuckin' A. I'd like to see him go head-to-head with Inferno in a battle-of-the-drums face-off.

Winner goes up against Gene Hoglan. lol
