Any orthopedists here?
Sorry for throwing this in out of the blue, I hope I'm posting it in the right place. I was born with scoliosis and cerebral palsy (the scoliosis being the focus of this), and part of my journey with it has been repeatedly attributed to woo. Woo is never the answer, I know, but I'm still being told it is and it's kinda frustrating. So, without the woo, I was hoping I could ask someone here a few questions I have about the ol' spinal curve, how the curve can decrease naturally and how quickly this can happen, etc. etc.

Are you seeing an orthopedist? If so, these are good questions to ask them. They also have access to your medical records, unlike people on the Internet. I personally wouldn't trust medical info from random people on the Internet. You have no idea of their true qualifications. Anyway, just my two cents Wink

Yes, I agree with Jennybee. All I know about scoliosis is that at a young age it can be treated with braces but other than that go see an orthopedist or three and get different opinions. I've known a couple of people who had scoliosis and corrected it with back braces they wore but it was super uncomfortable.

Vicious, ungentle, foolish, blunt, unkind,
Stigmatical in making, worse in mind.

Well, there is this ...

I've also seen treatments that involve attaching electrodes to the muscles that push the spine together for longer and longer periods with several repetitions.

It's pretty interesting. Shy
