Well... I can't see anything on the sky right now, althoug it is night because, and who would have guessed, it's raining. Undecided

So..when I look in the west, that really bright object I have been seeing for the past month was Venus?
Wow...that is pretty neat. Now I know.

I tried looking it up in a star atlas but it was so complex I couldn't make sense of it.

They seem daunting until you 'get it'. Takes practice.

However, try Sky & Telescope. Especially, This week's sky ...
