Anyone else buying Halo 4?

I pre-ordered Halo 4 and plan to pick it up asap. Unfortunately my wife won't let me play it until christmas. Once I am able to play it, I should have about 2 weeks to play it through before my wife is off the drugs enough to be out of bed.

Nah, they're just doing a CoD now, milking it for the cash, 1 game a year situation going on.

That and I'm not a fan of the game play, single player and multiplayer. Though this mulitplayer looks like it'll be the best of the lot.

Plus the story sucks. 1 guy saving the universe from absolute doom? yawn.

Yeah I no longer own an Xbox, but when I did, I hated the halo series. I played the first and second, after that, pretty much hated it all from there.

Back to car racing games for me now. Or RPGs. Or anything else.

Same here. One of my friends convinced me to buy Halo 3 to play with him, always regretted it. Now he's trying to get me to buy Halo 4. No effin' way.

I have only played Reach. I played it on the highest difficulty as I usually do with most games and it was probably the most challenging game on the highest difficulty I have ever played next to COD: World at War. My friend texted me saying he loves Halo 4's story more than all the others. I don't know, I will most likely become possessed enough to try the game out eventually.

I only play the Halo games for local multiplayer with mates. It is always a good laugh, but it doesn't go any further than that, so I may pick 4 up when it is dirt cheap some time down the line.

I don't mind halo, although 3 was a rip off. Brutally short game.

I'll probably get it down the line simply because it still has local co-op.

What the hell is everyone talking about? How in the fuck is Halo 4 ripping off Call of Duty? I have had this game for four full days now, and there is no similarity whatsoever. That's why Halo is better.

The campaign was long and SUPER sad though. I mean, the end is emotional as shit (if you care about the lore of the story at all).
