RE: Are women more emotional than men?
Not to mention we are all mammals. If we look at other animals and notice mammal behaviour, you can safely say yes!
Having strong emotions promotes strong emotional ties to their offspring which provides the ability for humans to safely allow the child time to grow up.

Other wise, if women didn't have strong emotional ties to their children, our offspring would be born able to fend for themselves.

Not all mothers...animal or human...have those strong emotional ties to their offspring. As for hormonal fluctuations, yes, women go through more but that's not to say that males don't also have hormonal changes that affect emotion and mood. Societally it is also accepted that women have outward displays of those hormonal changes while males are expected to suppress those displays.

As for living with a pregnant woman for a month...I have lived though puberty, 27 months of pregnancy, months of post pregnancy hormonal changes, and menopause. I won't dispute that hormones play a role...but it's not only women that go through changes in hormones.

See here they are the bruises some were self-inflicted and some showed up along the way. - JF
