RE: Are you a hat person?
I didn't used to be a hat person, but it kind of happened.

Casually, I usually wear a Dorfman-Pacific Outback Hat. I've even got away with wearing it with a suit before.

Whenever I can get away with it in uniform, or if I'm working outside (and it's not too cold) I wear a boonie cap, of which I have several styles from olive to desert to camo, as in this photo from earlier in the year.

When it's cold I've got a warm watch cap in a Scottish flag pattern.

And for special occasions, in uniform, I wear my cavalry stetson. For those who are not familiar, think "Apocalypse Now":

or like the one in the picture in the armory Tongue

It's only worn by Army cavalry scouts. Though, unlike the guy in the movie, we usually only wear it during awards ceremonies or when in our dress uniform. Not while riding around in helicopters blowing shit up Tongue

I don't wear hats, they don't feel right. I have wigs though. My favourite is a red hair one although I don't identify with red hair at all. Just this wig really, and then I also have a colonial one I like. I have dozens. I want to have a marie antoinette party one time with wigs.

I do have a few gray hairs although you have to look hard to find them. However, I do have a coyote fur hat with ear flaps that I wear on very cold days. My wife calls it my "Deputy Dog" hat.

I hate your ass! Fuckin' male pattern baldness in my family, anyway, grumbles...

See here they are the bruises some were self-inflicted and some showed up along the way. - JF

I seriously tried looking back at pics, I know there are some but can't find right now. Also I just lent all my wigs to my sister today for some function she's going to tonight, not joking. Ha ha. I will though, they are fun. Halloween should be at least twice a year for wig reasons. Big Grin
