Wisconsin has always been considered a blue state, and has voted Democratic in Presidential elections since 1984. Last Tuesday, they not only voted for Trump, they also voted to return a Republican to the Senate. On the electoral map the day after the election, Wisconsin was showing red. We also have a Republican governor who has survived two recalls, and then won re-election in the regular election, and both houses of our state legislature are overwhelmingly Republican. I would say we are now a red state. For what it's worth, I live in one of the few blue counties (Dane, which contains Madison) in that state.

Nullification refers to a state's rejection of a federal law or mandate and pass laws that supersede them.

You jinxed it.

Blue, and yes, it's something I could get behind, but I doubt it will happen.

Dom, Moms and I are partially responsible for making Oregon blue!

"OREGON
Voted for Democratic president in last seven elections; two Democratic senators; four out of five House representatives are Democrats; past three governors have been Democrats; Democratic-controlled Legislature."

I think the State of Washington is the bluest state, it's right across the Columbia River from where I live.

Yup. I just looked over there and it's definitely blue.

He is deformed, crooked, old, and sere,
Ill-fac’d, worse bodied, shapeless every where;
Vicious, ungentle, foolish, blunt, unkind,
Stigmatical in making, worse in mind.

Old Washington joke:

What color is the sky above the clouds above Seattle?

There is no sky above the clouds above Seattle -- just more clouds.

I'm in a very red county in a very blue state. I generally try to avoid politics IRL.

I'm in a blue state, I doubt anything will happen in terms of nullification.
Government tends to creep along rather than fix things quickly.

Washington Represent! Blue state, on the Blue side of the state. Oregon and Washington have a great divide, with the counties west of the Cascades being Blue and the less populous counties to the east being Red.
The eastern halves want to secede, just like North California.

I don't live in the US, but the states I'm in most often are Vermont and New York, both of which are blue states. But... The demographic I'm usually with is the red portion of that blue state, and Vermont is unique in that even a significant portion of the blues are gun nuts like myself due to the hunting culture. I also live in a blue country (Canada), but again due to the demographic which I associate and work with still have plenty of Canadian Facebook connections who have spent the last year spamming Trump propaganda. Obviously, none of those Canadians actually voted and most of my acquaintances in Vermont went with Johnson.
