Are you in the northern hemisphere? Check out ISON.

Find "Spica" and it should be pretty darn close to it tomorrow morning. Should be visible to the naked eye and definitely visible with a good set of binoculars or a telescope Smile Hopefully I can snag a photo if this storm front goes away.

Been waiting for ISON all year... I vaguely remember Hale-Bopp, and I've been holding out for a great comet since then.

This boy is Ignorance. This girl is Want. Beware them both, and all of their degree; but most of all beware this boy, for on his brow I see that written which is Doom... - The Ghost of Christmas Present.

On the link, the disembodied voice kept saying "before dawn".

Whose dawn would that be?

Sad

They key point is actually the star it will be near. Days ago it was Spica. If Spica is visible to you when it is dark, that is best. To some, that is not possible till the sun is up. At this point, it is past Spica and headed towards the sun. So you may or may not be able to see it at this point. Unfortunately the weather was shit here Sad So I missed out on getting pics of it.WeepingWeepingWeepingWeepingWeepingWeepingWeeping

Hug

We have too much light pollution here. Might as well be living in Norway at summertime.

It's supposed to make its grand entrance on Thanksgiving Day.
