Here's the deal... if this is going to fly, Seth wants some ground rules and they need to be followed.

1) No porn
2) No nudity
3) No intentional erotica
4) Age verification
5) (mainly for the FT) The intentions of this forum are clearly identified in the heading. Seth doesn't want new members or casual members to get the wrong idea about it aka having a "porn" section.

This is as good as it's going to get. I think this is a fair compromise for both sides of the coin.

this is a compromise? This is exaclty what we wanted.
This is party.
Also, can the mod please get so drunk he sees me as 61?

I don't really like going outside.
It's too damn "peopley" out there....

I'm not trying to be a shit disturber. I swear. But this is exactly what I mean.

I'm thrilled the issue is resolved for the majority. No skin off my nose to stay away from a section if I'm weary of it. I'll see how it develops before I decide to participate is all. Thumbsup

We are not avoiding legal ramifications here. If we want to do that, just add a "click if you're 18+" button to enter the adult forum section. What we want to avoid is the hassle involved with people deciding THEY think something is porn. Then there's a bunch of shit to muddle through. Sure you can link to as many definitions as you want, but that doesn't mean "sexy banter" won't be pointed at as porn by someone.

We are a community. We can police ourselves. We can let members know that nude pictures are frowned upon in the adult section. But making a rule about it causes a blurry line where we most need a clear one.

Nope my reading comprehension is at level 0 today.
This cannot be what you are saying:
Nude pictures frowned upon=clear line
Nude pictures not allowed=blurry line???

No that cannot be what you're saying so I just don't understand I think.

Porn is a nebulous idea No Pics is clear no Porn can be blurry. *I think that is what the Stark One is saying*

Yup. Exactly what we, the people who actually post in SBT, have been saying now for several pages. With some minor disagreements on terms.

But, for my .02, that will precisely address everything that I am concerned about.

Excuse me, I'm making perfect sense. You're just not keeping up.

That's fine, except what is "intentional erotica"? Consider

RE: Area69 for Adults(and Gwyneth lovers) only
Stark, I completely understand what you're saying.

Seth doesn't want his name and his trademark to be associated with nude (sexual) images, explicit images of sex, or erotic stories written for the sole purpose to excite sexually.

He is okay with sexual discussion among members and members sharing stories about themselves or their sex lives. This is what the 18+ covers.

But it's his call on the nudity/porn/erotica. And, he doesn't want it. Heck, he doesn't even want for it to appear as if we have a section like that.

Come on guys. We are all adults. We know what intentional erotica is. We have actually come across this in the sexy banter thread and decided on our own as adults no mod interference necessary, that erotica was a PM this not acceptable to be shared in the thread. This isn't hard unless you want it to be.
