RE: Ark encounter

The video goes into some depth about the two issues Ham is sensitive about: Attendance at Ark Encounter (since atheists keep publishing videos showing virtually no one there whenever they visit) and the idea that taxpayers are funding it (since Ham claims taxpayers aren’t paying anything for his pet project).

And that doesn't include parking either. Bloody hell!

Surely if you are a believer, you wouldn't need to go to these "museums" because you already know they are correct, like you wouldn't learn anything, like you would in a real museum.

I don't want Fop, goddamn it! I'm a Dapper Dan man!

yabut, there's now a "museum" that supports their view so it's all sciency and stuff. That makes their view equally valid, don't ya know? Besides, they do learn stuff like how Noah shoveled tons of shit out of the ark every day (and apparently dumped much of it in Kentucky).

I don't know. There's a strong case that D.C. means "Dung Collection".

There was enough shit to make piles in many locations.

Yeah this was my reaction, too. At those prices I don't know how many True Believers could even afford it -- particularly since a lot of them are going to be lower income folks and/or sustaining large families anyway. Just for comparison I looked at the web sites for a couple of the Six Flags amusement parks and for $60 to $80 you can buy a whole season pass online -- less than half the $175 for the Ark season pass. And there's a LOT more to choose from / do at such places.

And King's Island (if that's still the name) is just on the other side of Cincinnati, so "let's go there, daddy!"

So... $146 fee for a couple of adults and their two children, including parking FFS.

I can go to a Justin Bieber concert for less than that. Tongue

I'm a creationist... I believe that man created God.
