Reminds me of Griffon Ramsey, she carves wood using a chainsaw. This is one she did of Groot from Guardians of the Galaxy.

I love this thread Smile

This guy was both a product of his time as well as way ahead of his time in terms of early surrealism.
I love the details of his paintings. They were meant to be allegorical, but I guarantee dude was inspired by torture methods of the time.

That reminds me. There's part of one of his paintings with musical notes painted on someone's butt along side a book of music.

I love surrealism. Salvador Dali is one of my faves. When I first saw this work of his entitled "Mirage"-it made me think of my exit from Christianity into the world of rational thinking.
