You are one step away from Frank Frezetta.

Not only was he a classic artist of pulp sci-fi and sword & sorcery themes, he did all of the covers for the original Conan the Destroyer books. Not only that, he was also commissioned for the original movie poster for Quentin Tarantino's 'From Dusk Till Dawn' that they unfortunately never actually used. They did however use his work for the movie poster for 'Fire and Ice'.

Sort of. It's an Ermine, it's a kind of Weasel. The title is "The Lady with an Ermine" I couldn't remember what my Art History Teacher taught me so I had to look it up. Apparently at the time they were a symbol of pregantcy.

The girl in the painting was Cecilia Gallerani, the mistress of Da Vinci’s employer at the time. Gallerani may have been pregnant at the time of the painting’s creation. Also the Ermine may have been a pun. The Greek word for Ermine is "Galee", suggesting a possible play on words on her last name.

As well as his most famous stuff -- all the conceptual artwork for the Alien series....

I was a big fan of Heavy Metal magazine in the late 70's early 80's.. He got featured several times. His stuff is what nightmares look like.........

BTW -- don't drop acid and listen to Pink Floyd while looking at his artwork.... It's..... disturbing................
