The laws were also there to preserve the purity of the Messianic line.

You have to read scripture in context, and, in actuality, saying that modern day Christians should kill gays is cherry picking the Bible and taking it out of context.
It was just an example, so the bible should only be followed litteraly by jews? Shouldn't the Messianic line be preserved now? Are the ten commandments also just for the jews? How different do messages like Luke 12:33 become when you put them in context?

I'm sorry, maybe I'm not being clear. Sometimes I do that. I apologize.

I'm also assuming that you have basic knowledge of Bible history and the New Covenant. With the advent of Christ, God's Covenant isn't just limited to Jews. Salvation is for the Gentiles as well.

The time before Christ, the covenant was for the Jews. The teachings, laws, and rules didn't become obsolete, though. They stood as a blue print for Christ and His ministry.

Jesus sums up the Ten Commandments with two: love God wholly and treat your neighbor as yourself.

The New Covenant is what pertains to all elect, now - not just Jews.

Physical. I do no consider using the bible as evidence( unless it relates to something we can observe nowadays.). I prefer physical, feelable, observable evidence that supports your particular worldview.

I dislike using personal experiences because they are just that... Personal.

I've touched on this before.

And, I understand your sentiments. That's why I don't use anecdotes as proof except for myself. I'm also aware that God cannot be empirically proved or disproved, which boils down to faith.

So, what you're asking, I cannot fully give. I'm sorry.

So... Then... You believe there is no free will?

Very much so.

There is no such thing as free will.

Oh look who starts posting again. Well aren't you fancy?

As far as free will goes I'm starting to think along the lines of this:

Sometimes the choices we are given aren't choices at all.

Dude, I've been posting for like a week.

Someone doesn't love me anymore.

Is it your wife? I'd take her off your hands but I'm married myself.

If it's the derpy dog I'll take him.

Do you think there's a possibility that you will become an atheist/agnostic again?

Technically speaking, nothing is out of the range of possibilities.

Logically speaking, I would say the possibility is almost nil. After what happened to me, I don't think there is ever a way I could be an atheist or even an agnostic again.
