Physically, I don't exactly what to expect except for it being a paradise. I know that there will be no pain of any kind, and we are going to praise God for eternity.

Sounds exciting Dodgy

There will be no pain. I would venture to say that boredom is a form of pain due to lack of stimulation. I can only conclude that our state of being will change and that it will be the most exciting thing we've ever done.

No, just asking why you wouldn't given what's in store. Drinking Beverage

I answered this in post #358.

Because that's not in God's plan. It's physically impossible for me to commit suicide unless God allows it. Also, I have love for myself and my family, so it's not something that I could do.

This same question could be posed to anyone. If you (atheist) are so sure of nonexistence after death, then why don't you just commit suicide and forget the troubles of earth? It's not like you're going to remember any of this, or even know or care of you hurt other people doing it. Love, pain, empathy, or any emotion would cease to exist; moreover, so what if you love your family too much to do it... what does it matter? It's not like you're going to care when you're dead... or even know. So seriously... why don't you just commit suicide?

See... this is kind of a terrible question.

No, that's a terrible rejoinder. Atheists wouldn't commit suicide precisely because this is all there is.
