Any thoughts on this, KC?

Pretty interesting.

I understand the point of it and what is trying to be conveyed.

Yet, it still doesn't account for personal experiences.

Completely sound, normal, rational people like me have certain personal experiences that change the way they believe.

"And" isn't necessary.

Do you seriously see yourself that way? Do you really think that you're a rational person?

Do you seriously see yourself that way?

Do you seriously not if you take away my belief in God?

That's what I'm saying. I am sound, normal, and rational except I had a personal experience that says contrary.

It's like this (ala Everlast):

I've seen a rich man beg
I've seen a good man sin
I've seen a tough man cry
I've seen a loser win
And a sad man grin
I heard an honest man lie

The point is... can a rational person be irrational?

Except that your belief influences your entire life and (partly) defines who you are. You have a Christian wife. You indoctrinate your children into Christianity. You make certain decisions based on your belief. You go to a Christian church. Need I say more? If you take away your belief in god, your entire life as you know it will change. When that actually happens, you can ask that question again.

Insanity is a Catch-22.

Occasional TTA returner then leaverer.
