Because you have displayed rationality in nearly all observed topics save theology.
Isn't theology irrational, though?

Yea, but WHY do you believe this? I mean, this is a pretty convoluted story. Do you believe it because the bible tells you so? If so, why do you believe a 2000 year old book? The bible tells us tons of stuff that conflict. Why Calvinism? Many religious people, I understand to some degree because they were raised to believe. But someone who was converted later in life is especially perplexing to me... why this particular subset of Christianity?
My beliefs were radically changed by no choice of my own. Calvinism answered the questions of why and how they were changed.

Sorry, dude.

I just really can't right now.

I don't want to commit to anything that I know I can't put 100% into. It wouldn't be fair to you if I said "yes".

RE: Ask a Theist!
So you thought something, and the thing that you thought told you why you thought it and not to think about it anymore.

I'm disappointed in you, KC.

E 2 = (mc 2)2 + (pc )2
614C → 714N + e + ̅νe
2 K(s) + 2 H2O(l) → 2 KOH(aq) + H2 (g) + 196 kJ/mol
It works, bitches.

Huh, so we have a 200+ page thread because of a single hallucination by one man. Wow. OK, I think I need to stop clicking on "view new posts" and head over to the "positive atheism" area, which is kinda why I came here in the first place. That said, I probably won't be able to help myself...
50 posts per page option... c'mon people.

But, yeah, I think it's just because I'm an off breed of Christianity... people are just like "huh?".

I'm not really sure what you're saying.

The majority of positions concerning theology are.

Occasional TTA returner then leaverer.

So then, in relation to theology, I'm not irrational.

Even so, wouldn't you say that my beliefs are very rational based on the concept of an omnipotent and omniscient God?

In relation to theology, you are very irrational. My theological position is that it requires evidence, and that it does not have any such thing as of yet. Your position is that it has some sort of weighted argument, despite it relying solely on anecdotal evidence.

No, because you believe in an omnipotent and omniscient God.

Occasional TTA returner then leaverer.
