Merry Christmas to you and to your family.

Wife - yes. Those words don't bother either of us.

Kids - no. I don't want my kids using those words due to social implications. They also don't understand the gravity of language and words yet.

Would it also be possible for another pre-universe being/ thing to exist that doesn't meet your definition of god and would that be a different story?

Also:
I realised after checking back into the thread that you can't have two omniscient non-material beings. The only way the minds of two things that hold all the same information from all possible perspectives could be different was if they we're wired differently, which is impossible if there's no wiring.

Not entirely sure if I understand what you're getting at.

You're saying God and Jesus can't be the same?

I try to read as much as I can.

I've always loved comics. I love the Discworld series, Mazerunner series, Ender's Game... just a few.

For games, my I've always enjoyed RPGs.

You ever see videos that give an explanation for how big the universe is, like the biggest star in the universe reaches I think from like mars all the way to saturn and we would basically be counted as an atom in relative size to something like that, then that star is still just a spec inside of a spec inside of a group of specs that is just one dot in the "observable universe". Then get all depressed because even if you COULD get out there in the universe and explore all star trek style, You could never even be able to see a fraction of it?

I wanna see it all and I know I cannot. That is rather depressing. Always had that ADVENTURE!!! spirit but, alas, even if I lived to be 49.8^720 earth years old and traveled at the speed to light. I don't think even that would be enough to see everything in the universe. Let alone if there is multiple universes that may even make ours just a spec in comparison or same size or whatever.

That ever happen to you? You ever get a little sad face because ya wanna see it all but can't?

Not at all. Sorry. Ignore the diversion.

Fuck it: Clarity is important.

I was talking about the hypothetical second god. If being "all knowing" is one of the traits you think is part of a gods definition then my question was self refuting; there couldn't be a second one because they'd essentially be exactly the same being.

Still not being clear. One more time down below.

Soulless mutants of muscle and intent. There are billions of us; hardy, smart and dangerous. Shaped by millions of years of death. We are the definitive alpha predator. We build monsters of fire and stone. We bottled the sun. We nailed our god to a stick.

In man's struggle against the world, bet on the man.

Man... you sound like me. I've written so much about time travel and crap... I just want to see it all and know it all too. Kinda sucks I'll never know.

The idea was that if a second god existed, and gods are omniscience (I don't see why they wouldn't be except for the logical problems) then it's behaviour would be the same as the first god, making it functionally impossible to distinguish which is which.

Got ya.

However, in order for them to be indistinguishable they would each have to be O3.

You could have 2 different omniscient beings.
