Atheism Defined On Jeopardy

Any atheists in the house agreeing with Alex's definition?

With tv like this it's almost understandable that some people don't know what an atheist is.

"Throughout history, every mystery, ever solved, has turned out to be; Not magic."

RE: Atheism Defined On Jeopardy
I can only assume the show's called "Jeopardy" because to be in jeopardy can mean to be in an endangered, risky, vulnerable, or insecure state. As are the answers to its questions... (or is that questions to its answers?)

Let's hope the giggling moron Trebek doesn't follow in one of his game-show-host peers' footsteps. Imagine... President Trebek. Ohmy

I'm a creationist... I believe that man created God.

It's quite remarkable how clueless people are to their own biases and how those biases are incredibly ignorant and inconsiderate.

Check out my now-defunct atheism blog. It's just a blog, no ads, no revenue, no gods.

It's a seven minute video...can someone briefly explain what happened?

In the beginning was the Word. And the word was "atheism".

Defined as "The active, principled denial of the existence of god."

But this video was from over three years ago i.e. before the recent dictionary update.

Unsure

... which is a blatant misrepresentation. Apparently Jeopardy's definition of atheism came from the book "Isms & Ologies: All the movements, ideologies and doctrines that have shaped our world", authored by (the normally erudite) Arthur S. Goldwag.

I'm a creationist... I believe that man created God.

"What is gnostic anti-theism?"

If we came from dust, then why is there still dust?

And the answer is "Fucking nobody"

The question is " Who gives a shit what they say on Jeopardy?"

I watched it? You don't have 7 minutes to watch it? I think it is pretty self explanatory.

It really conveys the same long term false stereotype that "atheist" refers to the rejection of their particular god.

"atheist" was the answer to one of the questions.

The word "atheist" has been vilified for millennia, the question was simply a underhanded way for Christians to feel superior. Basically, "belief good, atheist bad".
