The "Financial Times" UK published an article called
"Atheism in America" by Julian Baggini (Feb. 3, 2012)

Julian Baggini toured the US to talk with Atheists (rural Atheists too)
and wrote this magazine article.
Baggini is a philosopher and author in England.
I am one of the people he interviewed.

Thanks for standing up.

The old gods are dead, let's invent some new ones before something really bad happens.

That was VERY interesting.
It's not easy to be "out" as you well know, but the more we do it, the better it will get.
Good for you!

It's all in your head, because there is no other place it could be.

I think that if every single athiest worldwide revealed that they are athiest, then athieism would be a far bigger influence.

Yes!
A bigger atheist influence in the world would be most helpful to all.

Unfortunately many would likely be killed in places, and others would be so ostracized that they commit suicide.

If all atheists would indeed say so all at once, it would be a MUCH bigger number than you think.

Our numbers are far bigger than those few who actually go on record saying explicitly that they're atheists. Most people who are atheists don't actually know they're atheists, because they've been indoctrinated to think that an atheist is someone who "hates God," worships Satan, or is a communist. So they just shrug their shoulders and never go to a church or support church causes.
