Find this guy pretty smug and over bearing.

I have a love hate relationship with this guy. I think hes amazing in some aspects, but I also don't agree with some of his views on things. I am however right on board with the atheism.

I can't stand him, personally. "Smug" was a very good word to use. Plus, some of the things he says are just blatantly idiotic. (He said that 9/11 was about sexual jealousy between the ultra-conservative Middle East and the free-loving West Dodgy )

But, when it comes to things like religion, I agree, he's spot-on. Thumbsup

Agreed. I love that none of us worship this guy, and if any of us did, they would be the object of ridicule among our peers. We can appreciate what a person says, while still disagreeing with them on any number of other points. I tend to enjoy Bill Maher, but I by no means agree with everything he says. I even had problems with his movie Religulous, that I didn't really notice until seeing other scholars critique it. 'Good idea, flawed execution' is the general gist of the critiques. But I didn't feel compelled to defend Bill Maher against say Richard Carrier, and I was able to take in the new information and re-evaluate my prior opinion. I really wish more theists understood this...

Case in point...
