RE: Collection of religious documentaries, and information
First post has been updated with the book suggestions by Atothetheist, and with a couple more documentaries.

I also linked a bunch of YouTube channels, but I know that there are many more. If you are subscribed to any that are not on the list please submit them.

I'll add them to the list when I get home from work tonight. I'm also looking to add links to websites for various atheist and skeptical organizations, as well as blogs.

Gosh, that's an oldie. I always liked him - seemed like an ok guy.

It does deserve a mention - I think it won an Oscar for best documentary. Thumbsup

I think in the end, I just feel like I'm a secular person who has a skeptical eye toward any extraordinary claim, carefully examining any extraordinary evidence before jumping to conclusions. ~ Eric ~ My friend ... who figured it out.

RE: Collection of religious documentaries, and information
Updated with further books suggestions, and documentary suggestions. I had forgotten about Marjoe! Thanks for the reminder.

I added a new section "Resources for Parents". There are only a couple of entries so far, but further suggestions would be helpful.

Planned future sections are:

Blogs
Atheist and skeptical organizations
Debates
Secular Charities (Really need help with this one, I don't know a lot about charities)

Further suggestions for the established sections, and any suggestions for new sections would be most welcome.

I'll work on adding the info on the gnostic gospels tomorrow. Providing links to your suggestions when you know where to find them would be helpful. It reduces time spent finding them and inputting them into BB code. Big Grin

Everything is really starting to come together, I really appreciate all of the help. Smile

No problem dude. It even got stickied for easy viewing for more views! Now this thing can be awesome.

How about some atheist websites like some counter apologetics:

Iron Chariots Wiki

And maybe EvilBible.com.

Some of these sites were really helpful in my deconversion so I hope that other are able to have easy access.
